John Lynch claims the 49ers have decided on possible trades for wide receivers.
Wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel have been associated with the San Francisco 49ers in trade rumours, but general manager John Lynch seemed keen to dispel those rumours.
During his Thursday interview on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Lynch stated that his objective is to retain as many members of the present roster as possible. This indicates that he is not interested in trading either receiver, at least not right now.
I’m exerting every effort to maintain the cohesiveness of our roster. That’s my aim,” Lynch declared. “You’re talking about people that we drafted, like Deebo and Brandon Aiyuk. We are quite proud of the individuals in question and we take great satisfaction in who and what they have grown into. Do discussions take place throughout drafts and offseasons? Indeed, they do. Now that we’ve moved past that, we’re excited to join that group.
The 49ers and Aiyuk are embroiled in a contract dispute, and the selection of a wide receiver in the first round by the team did little to allay rumours that Aiyuk would be leaving. As the 49ers attempted to advance in the NFL Draft, Samuel was also a potential trade chip.
In the end, nothing transpired, maybe as a result of the Niners not receiving the specific kind of offer they were seeking. The organisation seems happy to proceed with both wide receivers, at least for the time being, now that the draft is finished.
Patrick Mahomes is already planning his strategy for winning the Super Bowl when he plays in it again.
Mahomes talked on the Kansas City Chiefs’ use of the “Corndog” play, which helped them defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, during an appearance on “Impaulsive” with Logan Paul. The play was used by the Chiefs on a touchdown pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes to wide receiver Kadarius Toney against the Philadelphia Eagles a year prior.
Mahomes is such a fan of the play that he practically made a vow to use it in a third straight Super Bowl.
