The Bills have hired DJ Mangas as an offensive quality control coach, the organisation announced on Monday.
Mangas joined the Bills as an offensive aide at the end of the 2023 season and will now be officially part of Buffalo’s coaching staff in 2024. Mangas formerly served as the University of Buffalo’s offensive coordinator and tight ends coach before joining the Bills’ staff.
Mangas also has a relationship with offensive coordinator Joe Brady. During LSU’s national championship season in 2019, the two served on the same staff. Brady was LSU’s passing game coordinator that season, while Mangas served as an offensive analyst.
From 2008 until 2011, the two played together at William & Mary. Mangas’ tenure with the Bills will be his second in the NFL. In 2020, he served as an assistant with the Carolina Panthers.
