Giants is interviewed by the Titans to become head coach…
On Friday, Titans management conducted a virtual interview with Mike Kafka, the offensive coordinator for the New York Giants.
The group concluded a video interview with Brian Callahan, the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, earlier on Friday.
After spending one season (2017) as a graduate assistant at Northwestern, Kafka joined Andy Reid’s staff with the Kansas City Chiefs as a quality control coach. He was promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2018 and stayed with the Chiefs through 2021. Kafka was quarterbacks coach/pass game coordinator in 2020-21, where he worked with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
I will say that with everything that has come out in the last week, I think it was absolutely the right decision. You have to have everyone pulling in the same direction to be successful.
