The Dallas Cowboys returned to the practice field on Wednesday afternoon, despite having to move inside Ford Center owing to strong winds in The Star’s backyard. Their good health was one of the reasons for their upbeat demeanor.

Zack Martin, the starting right guard, was sick over the weekend and was unable to play in the Week 18 victory over the Commanders. On Wednesday, Martin took a day off, but on Sunday, he will be fully recovered.
Cornerback Stephon Gilmore dislocated his shoulder in the win over Washington. He said the medical team “popped it back in” on Sunday and he’s now playing to wear a harness against the Packers.
