Things are getting very interesting for Pittsburgh Steelers fans.
After defeating the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 on Saturday, the Steelers (10-7) have one, actually two, paths to the playoffs on Sunday.
Big changes could be coming whether or not they make the postseason.
“Black Monday” is just around the corner, and that’s when the NFL’s offseason coaching merry-go-round begins in earnest.
That led to a segment on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown show hinting at the possibility of change, with reporter Adam Schefter bringing up Tomlin.

That led to a segment on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown show hinting at the possibility of change, with reporter Adam Schefter bringing up Tomlin.
No, Schefter didn’t say Tomlin would be out Monday.
If the Steelers do indeed make the postseason, his fate will likely remain unknown for some time.
But Schefter said it’s a situation worth monitoring.
“He can dictate what he wants to do,” Schefter said.
“He sticks to it, but he sticks to it when he wants to.
What if Tomlin doesn’t want to stay?
Schefter said Washington, who is expected to be replaced by Ron Rivera as soon as Monday, is a franchise to watch for Tomlin.
He also said Tomlin could simply decide to take a vacation.
That’s no surprise, since the 51-year-old Tomlin took over as VMI’s wide receivers coach in 1995 and has been coaching ever since.
He became the head coach of the Steelers in 2007 and led the team to victory in Super Bowl XLIII.
Tomlin’s overall record is 173 wins, 100 losses, and 2 draws.
It’s hard to imagine another coach on the sideline in Pittsburgh, but at least Schefter thinks it’s a possibility.
