The Pittsburgh Steelers had three players selected to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, but one guy who did not make it is upset about being “snubbed.”
Through 17 weeks of the season, George Pickens ended fifth in the AFC in receiving yards, trailing Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins, Amari Cooper of the Cleveland Browns, Keenan Allen of the Los Angeles Chargers, and Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. Those four wide receivers were chosen for the Pro Bowl.
Pickens, on the other hand, was dissatisfied with the NFL’s picks. Following the publication of the 2024 rosters, the Steelers wideout captioned a story on Instagram, “F the Pro Bowl.”
It was later removed.
Pickens has 1,140 yards on 63 catches and five touchdowns this season, which is fewer than any of the four receivers ahead of him in yardage.
T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and Miles Killebrew were chosen by the Steelers. It is Killebrew’s first appearance in the Pro Bowl Games.
