The board will have to decide who will receive the 50 largest international signing bonuses.
The website then matched the player with the team most likely to sign him.
The Phillies were expected to sign one of them, Dominican Republic outfielder Jalvin Arias, for the 29th-highest contract fee.
This would be a long-term development pick for the Phillies, as Arias is currently viewed as a center fielder with great ability as a slugger and could potentially slot into a corner of the outfield in the future.
Arias was born in 2006 and spent a lot of time growing up to be 6’2″ tall and 200 pounds.
Arias was named an organizational All-Star by MLB.com last month as the Phillies moved into the international pool.
There is a star-studded group of future talent, including a list of relief pitchers who played in the postseason as the Phillies advanced to the National League Championship Series and then lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
