The Chicago Bears make the brave choice in the latest mock draft to remain with Justin Fields and trade out of the No. 1 overall pick. Personally, I believe this is a horrible decision, but I believe the Bears are gathering momentum to keep Fields. We’re in Fields’ third year in the NFL, and there’s still no indication that he’ll be a franchise quarterback.
In the latest mock draft, the Chicago Bears make the bold decision to keep Justin Fields and trade out of the No. 1 overall pick. Personally, I think this is a terrible move, but I feel the Bears are gaining momentum in their efforts to keep Fields. Fields is now in his third season in the NFL, and there is still little evidence that he will be a franchise quarterback.
The latest Chicago Bears mock draft sees the team dealing the first overall choice.
Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State, was selected third overall.
The Chicago Bears will make a big trade with the New England Patriots, giving up two draft selections. They accept the deal and are still able to snag someone who I am sure is at the top of their draft board in Marvin Harrison Jr, the finest wide receiver prospect in years, if not decades. With DJ Moore, the Bears would have the finest WR tandem in the NFL.
And if Justin Fields can’t work with these two, he’s not the right man. Fields will be given a lot of assistance if the Bears continue with him, and there will be no more excuses for the quarterback.
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State, was selected 10th overall. The Chicago Bears’ defense has undergone a late-season comeback, which appears to be owing in large part to the acquisition of Montez Sweat at the 2023 NFL trade deadline. The Bears, on the other hand, continue to bolster their pass rush by drafting Chop Robinson, one of the top defensive players available in the 2024 NFL Draft. Chop is also a nice name.
