NFL fans aer going crazy with the most new 2024 quarterback trade rumors concerning the Chicago Bears.
When April arrives, the Chicago Bears will have to make a significant choice.
They can either stick with former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, who has shown promise at times but also struggled mightily, or they can choose to select USC dual-threat quarterback Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft, or they can choose to select one of the other top signal callers in this year’s class, such as Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye.
Though trade rumors are still more common than ever, Fields has showed signs that he might be the guy the Bears select in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
However, does his increasing efficiency and field maturity justify his stay in Chicago, or is it only increasing his trade worth on the open market?
The Chicago Bears Have Several Options
However, the Bears have choices, and it’s safe to presume that the group is brainstorming alternatives for Fields’ future.
Fields might choose to remain where he is as the team keeps developing around him. They might even give up the top selection for the second year in a row in order to add additional talent, drafting a little later in order to acquire more of what they require.
Of course, choosing Williams at number one and trading Justin Fields for additional draft cash beforehand is also a possibility.
With regard to the team’s plan of action, the second alternative appears to be the more frequently accepted and popular one.
A hypothetical trade proposal that was initially made public by FanNationc Report called for the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons to join together and exchange Justin Fields for a move that would look advantageous to all sides.
