Following an auto accident earlier this week, Mario Balotelli’s management has affirmed that the former Manchester City striker is doing well.
The contentious Italian player’s Turkish team, Adana Demirspor, has also attested to his “good health.”
According to reports from Italy, on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, Mario Balotelli was traveling in his hometown of Brescia when he struck a wall with his car.
The 33-year-old former Inter Milan forward escaped the heavily damaged car unharmed, and no one else was hurt in the collision.
According to a statement from his Turkish team, Mario Balotelli, who was hurt in an automobile accident in his native Italy yesterday, is doing well. He is currently relaxing at home and is not experiencing any health problems.
Balotelli made five appearances after rejoining Demirspor in September 2023 before missing the entire season due to injury.
Not that his automobile accident made him any less of a fitness freak—he was still recovering from knee surgery when he made the decision to move back to his hometown.
Remember that the former Italy international left Inter Milan in 2010 to join Manchester City, where he helped the team win its first FA Cup and Premier League titles.
He played for a short while in Turkey, France, Italy, and Switzerland after departing in 2013, and then he moved to AC Milan and Liverpool.
Mario Balotelli left the Italy national team after his final match in 2018, although he was called up for a training camp the following year.
