Robert Plant’s much-anticipated album Saving Grace is set to drop on, courtesy of Nonesuch Records. This marks his first full-length solo effort since the 2021 Raise The Roof collaboration with Alison Krauss.
A Songbook of the “Lost and Found”
Recorded over six years—from April 2019 to January 2025—in the serene environment of the Cotswolds and the Welsh Borders, the album set to be released on September 26, 2025 breathes new life into a rich collection of older songs. This effort, as Plant describes, is “a song book of the lost and found.
A Distinctive Ensemble
The album features the newly formed band Saving Grace:
- Suzi Dian (vocals)
- Oli Jefferson (drums/percussion)
- Tony Kelsey (guitar/mandolin)
- Matt Worley (banjo, strings)
- Barney Morse-Brown (cello)
Plant treasures their creative chemistry: “We laugh a lot … I like laughing … These are sweet people … unique stylists,” he shares.
