However, video footage clearly shows helmet-to-helmet contact during the stop, which occurred towards the end of the first half. Despite this, Humphrey’s tackle was crucial for the Ravens’ defense, as it helped prevent Allen from advancing, with safety Kyle Hamilton also pulling Allen from behind at the same time.

Marlon Humphrey is still under contract with the Baltimore Ravens, as he’s in the fourth year of his five-year, $97.5 million rookie deal. He is set to earn $14 million in base salary and could receive a $4 million roster bonus if he stays on the roster by the fifth league day of the next season.
